TEXAS: Two Fort Worth Police Officers Shot, Rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth

Two Fort Worth police officers have been shot Friday evening while responding to a call, the department confirms.
The shooting was reported in the 3800 block of Wharton Drive.
MedStar ambulance service officials say both officers were rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. One is in serious condition, and the other has minor injuries. Neither officer is critical, MedStar says.
The status of the suspected gunman is not clear.
Dozens of police units have responded to the area, including what appear to be SWAT officers.
