CHICAGO, IL — Police are searching for an armed man who allegedly held up a doughnut shop in the West Loop, according to reports.
A man allegedly robbed a Dunkin' Donuts in the 500 block of West Lake Street at gunpoint, according to Paul Konrad of WGN-TV. The gunman then fled to a nearby building, the report added.
Police are currently surrounding the area, and they have shut down Lake Street between Clinton and Jefferson streets, Sara Jindra of WGN reports. At least one building also is in a lockdown, according to online reports.
