A construction worker was injured Monday afternoon when they fell 10 feet from a scaffold at a construction site in the city's West Loop neighborhood, according to the Chicago Fire Department.Crews carried a stretcher up a wooden ladder to where the worker fell, and brought the worker down to the ground.
The construction site is in the 600-block of West Adams Street.
The worker was taken to Northwestern Hospital. Their condition was not immediately known.
